About The Project
The Prostuti is a comprehensive, three-tier EdTech ecosystem built to empower thousands of students preparing for university admissions, BCS, and government/bank job examinations. The platform features an interactive student-facing portal, an enterprise-grade administration dashboard, and a resilient, high-concurrency API server.
The client application allows candidates to take live timed model tests, explore extensive chapter-wise question banks, read curated current affairs and job circulars, bookmark complex questions, and purchase subscription preparation packages.
The dedicated administrative dashboard empowers educators and admins to manage multi-level academic taxonomies (Categories, Units, Groups, Subjects, Topics, Sub-Topics), compose rich LaTeX/KaTeX scientific questions, monitor financial transactions, and analyze student test metrics.
Engineered for high performance, the platform implements a modular architecture, automated negative-marking evaluation engines, Cloudinary/Sharp image optimization pipelines, and dynamic sharded sitemaps indexing tens of thousands of dynamic questions for maximum SEO authority.
The Challenge
Competitive exam platforms must handle heavy traffic surges during live exam windows, deliver zero-latency timer synchronization, process complex mathematical/scientific symbols (KaTeX/MathJax), and index tens of thousands of dynamic MCQ pages for search engines without degrading page performance or database efficiency.
The Solution
Engineered a scalable multi-app architecture separating the Next.js 16 student experience from the Vite/React 19 admin suite and Express 5 backend. Implemented instant client-server test evaluation with negative marking logic, multi-partition dynamic sitemaps, robust Zod data validation, and automated Cloudinary WebP image pipelines.
